Al Borg Diagnostics lands 5-yr partnership pact with International SOS

SAUDI ARABIA – Al Borg Diagnostics Company has signed a five-year strategic partnership agreement with International SOS Medical Complex, to operate and manage its medical laboratories across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The partnership agreement will enable patients throughout the Kingdom to access cutting-edge diagnostic tests while ensuring reliability. 

Al Borg Diagnostics was established in 1998 in Jeddah and expanded to become the largest chain of private laboratories in Saudi Arabia. The company passes more than 16.3 million tests annually and has 85 international accreditations.

In a press release, the medical diagnostics company said: “Al Borg Diagnostics will give more patients in the Kingdom the opportunity to benefit from the most accurate medical test results.”

As part of its expansion plans, Al Borg Diagnostics aims to be the preferred diagnostic medical laboratory for all customers and the optimal health partner in the Kingdom through its strategic partnerships.

The strategic deal also aligns with core values of passion, expertise, respect, and care which are upheld by the International SOS – Al Rushaid, a joint venture between International SOS and Al Rushaid Group, to provide the best possible healthcare to patients across the KSA.

Founded in 2018, the International SOS – Al Rushaid provides a complete and integrated medical services solution to clients in Saudi Arabia, onshore and offshore.

The signing ceremony was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Al Borg Diagnostics Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Amoudi, and Mr. Paolo Abbate, General Manager, International SOS – Al Rushaid Company Limited, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Welcoming the new partnership, Al Borg Diagnostics CEO Dr. Saeed Al Amoudi said: “Our partnership with International SOS comes to further empower the healthcare sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

He observed that through the strategic deal, the company would provide an additional facility with its unique and high-quality patient care services backed by state-of-the-art technology and 25 years of experience.

On his part, Mr. Paolo Abbate, General Manager of International SOS Al-Rushaid, outlined that the partnership agreement would leverage the vast local know-how and footprints of the Al-Rushaid Group and the global medical expertise of International SOS around the world.
