Alameda Healthcare and TMG partner to build major Hospital in Madinaty

EGYPT—Alameda Healthcare Group has partnered with Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) to establish and operate a state-of-the-art hospital in Madinaty, a flagship urban community located in East Cairo.

 This collaboration aims to improve healthcare services not only in Egypt but also beyond its borders.

This strategic partnership marks the beginning of a long-term alliance focused on elevating healthcare standards within TMG’s developments throughout the region.

The new hospital, set to open its doors in 2027, represents a significant investment of over EGP 5 billion (US$98.87 million).

Boasting a capacity of around 200 beds, the facility will provide comprehensive medical services while utilizing advanced technologies for high-quality care.

This initiative is designed to meet the healthcare needs of local residents while also attracting medical tourism, positioning the hospital as a premier healthcare destination in the area.

As both the investor and operator, Alameda will oversee the hospital’s management to ensure it adheres to the highest international standards.

This commitment highlights Alameda’s role as a leading healthcare provider focused on expanding services through strategic collaborations that enhance the quality of care with the latest global innovations.

The partnership between TMG and Alameda is also part of a broader strategy to integrate top-tier healthcare services into TMG’s urban developments.

Under the leadership of Hisham Talaat Moustafa, TMG has been broadening its reach in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, diversifying its portfolio to encompass not only real estate but also hospitality and now healthcare.

This initiative aligns with TMG’s vision of providing integrated services that improve the quality of life for its residents, who number over 1.2 million across its projects, and serve a wider community of over 4.5 million in East Cairo.

Moreover, this collaboration is poised to have a substantial impact on the local community.

The hospital is expected to serve not just the residents of Madinaty but also a broader population of over 504 million people in the East Cairo area.

This ambitious project embodies the dedication of both TMG and Alameda to enhance high-quality healthcare infrastructure in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, setting new benchmarks for integrated healthcare services in the region.

The agreement was formally signed by Hisham Talaat Moustafa, CEO and Managing Director of TMG, and Fahad Khater, Chairman of Alameda Healthcare, in the presence of senior executives from both companies.

EFG Hermes acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction, underscoring the strategic significance of this partnership.
