UAE – Global medical device company Align Technology has tapped into the Middle East market with the launch of its latest Invisalign Moderate package.

Align Technology designs, manufactures, and sells its Invisalign system of clear aligners, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

Its Invisalign portfolio includes the Invisalign Moderate package, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Comprehensive.

In a press release, Align Technology said: “The Invisalign Moderate package features the three key elements that power the Invisalign system: SmartStage technology, SmartTrack material, and SmartForce features.”

The Arizona-Based company announced that its digital healthcare technologies for dental health will be available in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The Invisalign Moderate package is a maximum 20-stage clear aligner treatment option within the Invisalign system product portfolio, designed for doctors to treat mild-to-moderate malocclusions,” the company outlined.

Align Technology said that doctors in the Gulf region can use the latest Invisalign package as an alternative treatment option for mild-to-moderate malocclusions, one of the most common dental problems in the general population.

The American manufacturer expanded into the Middle East region following a successful launch across European markets in 2022.

On his part, Markus Sebastian, Align Technology Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operations, stated: “This is a great milestone for the region that solidifies our presence in the entire GCC market.”

He pointed out that with the Invisalign Moderate package, Invisalign trained doctors across the Middle East will be able to offer more treatment options to their patients that are better tailored to their unique needs.

Align Technology’s entry into the GCC market will pave the way towards more patient’ access to digitally-advanced and more efficient care while ensuring more doctors have the critical tools to future-proof and digitize their practices.

Over the past 25 years, Align has helped doctors treat 14 million patients with the Invisalign system and is driving the evolution in digital dentistry through the Align Digital Platform.

Align Digital Platform is an integrated suite of unique, proprietary technologies and services delivered as a seamless, end-to-end solution for patients and consumers, orthodontists and General Practice dentists.

Align Technology has reinforced its commitment to the Middle East region with the launch of its latest Invisalign Moderate package,” added Sebastian.
