UAE – Dubai’s healthcare and education listed investment company Amanat Holdings has introduced its new market-leading healthcare platform, Amanat Healthcare.

Amanat Healthcare is anticipated to be a market-leading provider of specialized healthcare in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The online platform combines Amanat’s long-term, post-acute, and specialist care assets in one entity and it is projected to have a total capacity of 1,000 operational beds over the next three years.

In a press release, Amanat Holdings said: “The new vertical consolidates our portfolio of world-class healthcare assets in the Middle East into a single platform.”

Through its newly launched single platform, Amanat will provide a wide range of healthcare services and products in the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.

Amanat’s healthcare platform includes Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center (CMRC), Sukoon, Al-Malaki Specialist Hospital, and the real estate assets of CMRC in Abu Dhabi.

This strategic move comes at a time when the private healthcare market in the Middle East region continues to grow strongly.

The Middle East has favourable demographic trends as well as a supportive regulatory environment designed to develop the private sector to meet the growing needs of the people.

Amanat is exploring potential monetisation opportunities for Amanat Healthcare and organic and inorganic growth opportunities that generate synergistic benefits with its existing portfolio.

The Dubai-based listed company has also appointed a Board of Directors to explore an initial public offering (IPO) of Amanat Healthcare on a regional exchange in the near-term.

Welcoming the new vertical, the Chairman of Amanat, Hamad Alshamsi, said: “At Amanat, our fundamental strength is creating value for stakeholders.”

He outlined that Amanat has invested in assets, expertise, and knowledge to support the Middle East-based governments’ efforts in delivering modern and efficient healthcare.

Hamad Alshamsi further said the formation and launch of Amanat Healthcare will enhance the quality of life for populations in the region and concurrently deliver value to shareholders.

We will look for inorganic growth opportunities that generate synergistic benefits with our existing world-class portfolio,” he added.

The formation of Amanat Healthcare will enable Amanat to maximise growth opportunities within the GCC following a strong financial performance in the previous fiscal year.
