INDIA – A new state-of-the-art Neuro Endoscopy Center at Amrita Hospital, Kochi has officially opened to the public in the Indian state of Kerala.
The new facility christened the Amrita Centre for Neuro Endoscopy becomes the first center of its kind in southwest India’s coastal Kerala state.
The opening of the new center reflects the hospital’s efforts to revolutionize deformative surgery by introducing advanced neuro endoscopy techniques.
In an official statement, Amrita Hospital, Kochi said: “The establishment of the Amrita Centre for Neuro Endoscopy (ACNE) marks a significant milestone in healthcare.”
The inauguration of this center comes shortly after Amrita Hospital, Kochi expanded its research capabilities with the addition of two new well-equipped research centers.
The hospital also recently launched a groundbreaking mobile application, SWALLO, designed to offer virtual support to individuals battling swallowing disorders (dysphagia).
During a ribbon-cutting ceremony, it was revealed that the Amrita Centre for Neuro Endoscopy will have a special focus on patients suffering from neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
The new center housed at Amrita Hospital, Kochi is well-equipped to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, solidifying the hospital’s goal of becoming a leading source for these services.
The center brings together a dedicated team of experts from various specialties, including skull base endoscopy, cranial endoscopy, spine endoscopy, robotic endoscopy, and pediatric endoscopy, to provide comprehensive care in the field of endoscopic neurosurgery.
Underlining the significance of cost-effective solutions for individuals in need of advanced medical care, Amrita Hospital, Kochi outlined: “The center’s specialization within each division ensures highly targeted and effective treatments, promising the best possible outcomes for patients.”
Notably, Amrita Hospital, Kochi has achieved a significant milestone by becoming one of the few healthcare facilities in India to establish a dedicated center for Neuro and Endoscopy surgeries.
The hospital will offer patients the best care using advanced neuro endoscopy techniques, providing patients with improved, less invasive treatment options.
