Amway partners IIT Bombay to accelerate research in fields of health supplements

INDIA – Amway India one of the country’s leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) Direct Selling companies has announced a collaboration with IIT Bombay to accelerate research in the fields of nutraceuticals, botanicals, and herbal supplements.

According to the company, the partnership will see a team of in-house Amway researchers collaborate with IIT Bombay to bring breakthrough innovation in the identified areas and gain deeper insights into Amway’s nutrition and herbal range of products and ingredients.

It will use cutting-edge systems biology and modeling approaches to gain a better understanding of the interactions between human physiology and various nutrients and botanicals, according to the announcement.

Amway India CEO Anshu Budhraja commented on the collaboration, saying that it will improve scientific knowledge of Amway’s nutrition range of products.

Our collaborative efforts with IIT Bombay will further enhance the scientific credibility of the Amway Nutrition range, thus providing a competitive advantage for Nutrilite (brand). In addition, it will empower Amway direct sellers and their consumers at large with an evidence-based, scientific understanding of the products,” he added.

As a part of Amway’s multi-year growth strategy, Budhraja said, “I’m confident that such credible association will facilitate us to achieve milestones in the field of health supplements, nutraceuticals, botanicals, and herbal supplements thus reinforcing our vision of helping people live better, healthier lives.

The company claims that these products contain essential nutrients for overall health, immunity, bone health and eye health designed to fit modern lifestyles.

In the meantime, Amway India, has introduced a range of nutrition supplements in trendy, tasty, convenient, and simplified formats as part of its ongoing efforts to solidify its leadership in the health and immunity space through constant product innovation.

Understanding the hectic lifestyles of today’s millennials, Amway has developed on-the-go nutrition solutions to meet their daily nutritional needs.

The supplements include flavorful gummies and mouth dissolving jelly strips under its flagship brand Nutrilite, and this line of on-the-go nutrition supplements is set to expand Amway’s nutrition portfolio.

The nutrition solutions include Seize the Day, a strawberry-flavored gummies containing vitamins and minerals to support overall health and immunity, D-fence – mouth dissolving jelly strips containing Vitamin D3 to support bone health and immunity, and I Candy gummies containing Lutein & Zeaxanthin to support eye health.
