Arab Health rebrands to World Health Expo Dubai, marking a new era in global healthcare

UAE – Arab Health, the Middle East’s largest and most influential healthcare event since 1975, has officially rebranded as World Health Expo Dubai (WHX Dubai).

The announcement was made during the event’s 50th-anniversary edition, signaling a bold vision for the next five decades of global healthcare collaboration and innovation.

This transformation highlights Dubai’s growing role as a leading hub for medical advancements, fostering international partnerships, and driving technological breakthroughs.

Over the past 50 years, Arab Health has evolved from a modest gathering of 40 exhibitors to a globally recognized event, now attracting more than 60,000 healthcare professionals annually.

The newly rebranded WHX Dubai builds on this legacy, offering a fresh, forward-thinking approach to healthcare networking.

The event brings together businesses, governments, innovators, and healthcare professionals from across the world, reinforcing its position as a premier platform for knowledge exchange and industry advancements.

WHX Dubai is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and concludes on January 30, 2025, under the theme ‘Where the World of Healthcare Meets’.

This year’s edition has drawn more than 3,800 exhibitors and over 60,000 visitors from 180 countries, providing unparalleled opportunities for collaboration, education, and innovation.

Peter Hall, President of Informa Markets for the Middle East, India, Türkiye, and Africa, emphasized that the transition to WHX Dubai reflects Arab Health’s evolution into a global force for healthcare transformation.

He described the rebranding as a step towards an exciting future defined by international cooperation, technological advancements, and innovation without borders.

Hall also highlighted Dubai’s pivotal role in shaping healthcare innovation, noting that the city has been instrumental in the success of the event over the past five decades.

The new identity not only honors this legacy but also expresses Informa’s gratitude to Dubai and its people for their continued support.

Looking ahead, WHX Dubai aims to drive the next era of global healthcare transformation.

Additionally, the name WHX (World Health Expo) will now unify Informa’s healthcare events worldwide, bringing them under a single brand to enhance global connections and collaboration. WHX Dubai is expected to expand on Arab Health’s achievements, connecting over half a million healthcare professionals across nine countries and four continents.

By consolidating events within the Informa Markets Healthcare portfolio, WHX seeks to amplify its impact, encouraging stronger partnerships, greater innovation, and significant advancements in the healthcare ecosystem.

The rebranded WHX Dubai 2025 continues to receive strong support from key government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
