This centre offers a comprehensive, holistic approach to supporting children of all abilities through a wide range of interdisciplinary therapy services tailored to their unique developmental needs.
As an extension of the Aster Clinic in Bur Dubai (AJMC), the centre provides screening, assessment, diagnosis, and intervention aimed at improving key developmental areas such as mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, communication, social skills, and emotional growth.
By nurturing these skills, the centre helps children gain confidence and independence in their daily lives.
The centre operates on a unique interdisciplinary model that brings together medical doctors and rehabilitation professionals to create individualized care plans for each child.
Services include diagnosing developmental delays, neurodevelopmental, communication, and motor disorders, as well as behavioural assessments.
Evaluations cover speech and language, sensory integration, IQ testing, and special education needs.
Conditions addressed include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, and speech-language disorders.
The centre also offers Psycho-Educational Analysis to integrate insights across disciplines and develop personalized intervention plans.
Equipped with internationally recognized assessment tools, the centre provides evidence-based care for children aged 0 to 16 years.
What distinguishes this centre is the seamless collaboration between medical and rehabilitation teams, combining hospital and clinic services under one roof.
DYU Healthcare’s operations are guided by proven Standard Operating Procedures developed over a decade in India, including care for children discharged from NICU and those needing ongoing early childhood support.
DYU’s team-based approach has consistently delivered positive outcomes for children facing various developmental challenges.
In this partnership, DYU Healthcare manages daily operations and implements its care models, while Aster Clinics provides strategic leadership to integrate these services within the UAE healthcare system.
This collaboration leverages Aster’s established healthcare infrastructure alongside DYU’s specialized child development expertise.
Ms. Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, highlighted the centre as a testament to their commitment to high-quality healthcare for children and families in the UAE.

Operating daily from 9 AM to 7 PM, the centre is expected to deliver over 20,000 therapy sessions annually, serving around 350 children and conducting assessments for approximately 500.
With a skilled team, advanced equipment, and an interdisciplinary approach, it ensures comprehensive, evidence-based care.
Over the next two years, the centre plans to expand to 10 locations across the UAE and will introduce cultural activities, competitions, and community outreach programs, including partnerships with local nurseries and schools to extend services within educational settings.
