UAE—Bayer has announced a major step forward in allergy management in the UAE by forming strategic partnerships with two leading medical organizations: the Emirates ENT Society and the Emirates Pharmacists Society.

This collaborative initiative was unveiled during a regional allergy awareness media roundtable in Dubai, aligning with the anticipated launch of Bayer’s latest product, ClariSpray.

Allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever, is a widespread condition in the region, affecting up to 45% of the population.

This condition can significantly impact daily life, reducing productivity and overall well-being.

Recognizing the scale of the problem, Bayer is not only committed to delivering effective treatment options but is also focused on raising public awareness and providing education about allergy management.

ClariSpray, Bayer’s innovative new product, represents the company’s ongoing dedication to scientific excellence and putting patients at the center of their healthcare solutions.

Bayer believes that ClariSpray will be a valuable addition to the current range of allergy treatments, offering relief to individuals who struggle with nasal congestion and want to get back to their daily routines without discomfort.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdulla Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates ENT Society, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the medical sector and specialized healthcare partners.

He noted that this partnership with Bayer creates a unique opportunity to combine Bayer’s resources and solutions with the medical expertise and clinical experience of local professionals.

Together, they aim to enhance the quality of allergy treatments and achieve better health outcomes for patients throughout the region.

Dr. Abdulla Al Kindi, Head of the Emirates Pharmacists Society, also highlighted the significance of these partnerships.

He explained that working closely with Bayer and other medical societies will empower pharmacists to better address the needs of people suffering from allergic rhinitis.

This collaborative approach is expected to lead to tangible improvements in patient care and overall well-being.

Dr. Mohammad Galal, Vice President and Head of Middle East & Pakistan at Bayer Consumer Health, reiterated Bayer’s commitment to empowering individuals to take charge of their health.

He stated that the launch of ClariSpray, together with these vital partnerships across the GCC and Emirates, demonstrates Bayer’s deep commitment to tackling the significant burden of allergic rhinitis in the region.

By collaborating with healthcare professionals, Bayer aims to raise awareness, improve access to innovative treatments, and ultimately enhance the daily lives of those affected by allergies.
