UAE – Bridge Medical Group Purchasing (BMGP) has teamed up with SupplyCopia, a marketplace for healthcare supply chain solutions, for the development of healthcare systems in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The collaboration agreement comes barely a month after BMGP tied up with New Al Farwaniya to advance access to essential healthcare services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Under the deal, BMGP and SupplyCopia will work closely with healthcare organizations to bring tech-driven solutions to healthcare suppliers in the MENA region.

The two parties will jointly design and create a new intelligence-based care delivery model that encompasses business insights, technology, and global best practices in patient care.

The agreement aims to achieve cost savings for clients in the healthcare industry and improve patient outcomes through the clinical, operational, and financial performance of BMGP members.

Leveraging BMGP’s comprehensive procurement solutions and advanced best-in-class technologies along with SupplyCopia’s global reach and expertise in healthcare data analytics, the partnership aligns with their shared vision of patient-centric outcomes.

It aligns with BMGP’s mission of enabling healthcare providers to enhance operational, financial, and clinical outcomes by securing optimized procurement strategies and enhanced product selection.

Through Bridge Medical Group Purchasing Organisation (GPO), the UAE’s leading Group Purchasing Organization, and SupplyCopia, the partnership will facilitate supply chain optimization for healthcare operators.

This partnership will result in a technology-driven GPO platform enabling a new end-to-end approach for BMGP’s members, the companies claimed.

At the same time, SupplyCopia will leverage its innovative and proven technology solutions to transform the way health systems and suppliers utilize data, analytics, and insights.

SupplyCopia applies the latest data science and software technology to bring maximum transparency to healthcare providers and suppliers.

On his part, Mr. Rashed S. AlFadala, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & General Manager of Bridge Medical Group, underscored: “The partnership with SupplyCopia reiterates our focus on driving the positive transformation of the healthcare industry in the Middle East.”

He observed that healthcare in the MENA region continues to rapidly evolve, with multiple factors driving economic shifts, changes in patient demographics, and the emergence of new locations of care.

SupplyCopia brings together data, technology, and teams for a more intelligent, more aligned supply chain. Their technology has been proven to solve some of the most fundamental problems healthcare organizations face,” added the CEO of BMGP.
