Brenntag acquires mcePharma to expand pharmaceutical value chain solutions

CZECH REPUBLIC – Brenntag, a global chemicals and ingredients distribution company, has announced the acquisition of mcePharma a.s., Czech Republic, an international health, wellness and customized solutions provider.

Although the financial details of the deal are not disclosed, the signing and closing of the transaction occurred simultaneously. 

The acquisition and additional investments in the site of mcePharma will strengthen Brenntag’s capabilities across the entire pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical value chain.

Brenntag Pharma’s existing state-of-the-art Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities, along with advanced sampling services and expertise in over-the-counter (OTC) product development and GMP powder packaging, will enhance the growing portfolio of capabilities and value-added services offered in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
