EGYPT – Brmaja Innovation, a subsidiary of Saudi tech firm Brmaja, has acquired a majority stake in Wellness Plus to launch and manage Wellnessplus.live platform for online mental health services.

Brmaja Solutions is a global leader in digital solutions, and it owns both Brmaja Technology and Brmaja Innovation, with presence in 16 countries including Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.

The Innovation Company provides IT products and services in the technology market through a diverse scale of services like system integration, digital media marketing and solutions development.

The firm partnered with founders of Wellness Plus and the 100 Million Mental Health Initiative to create an electronic platform Wellnessplus.live for Wellness Plus that provides mental health services online.

Wellnessplus.live is an advanced online wellness hub that connects consultants and therapists with patients via the web and a mobile application to provide high quality wellness services and mental health solutions for people around the globe.

The platform will provide health services from a group of senior specialized psychiatrists, psychological rehabilitation specialists and many mental health specialties that have experienced great success on Wellness’ social media pages.

In addition, the Wellness Plus mental health platform will provide bank link services to support payments for clients and patients who will receive the treatment service online as well as provide more advanced, easy and private services for clients and patients.

Brmaja Innovation owns 70% of the new platform that is part of Egypt’s 100 Million Mental Health Initiative and it will be design and programme the mobile application as well as the website.

The company will also offer full support to the online mental health services in terms of marketing and promoting the platform’s services inside and outside Egypt with the provision of hosting services and video conferencing services.

Chairperson of Brmaja Solutions Hatem Bakheet revealed the collaboration comes within the framework of the group’s plan to expand inside Egypt during the current year.

We plan to increase our investments in the local market by 20% during 2022 in light of strengthening cooperation and developing joint investments between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt,” he maintained.

Earlier, Brmaja increased its market presence in Africa by acquiring a 50% stake in An-Nisa which is a Kenyan transportation app created by women for women.

The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to grow its core business in Africa and it fits with its aim of being a trailblazer in the development and application of cutting-edge technology and solutions.
