UAE – Burjeel Holdings, a prominent healthcare services provider in the MENA region, has recently inaugurated an advanced Day Surgery Center in Al Ain’s Al Dhahir area in the UAE.
The cutting-edge facility, the first of its kind in the region, strengthens Burjeel’s commitment to delivering top-tier patient care and fostering holistic community well-being.
It was inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
This strengthens Burjeel’s commitment to delivering top-tier patient care and fostering holistic community well-being.
Equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies, the Day Surgery Center aims to revolutionize patient care by offering efficient surgical interventions for various medical conditions while concurrently reducing the need for prolonged hospital stays.
A highly qualified and board-certified team of doctors spearheads the Center, strategically positioning it to enhance patient experience and well-being through community-led healthcare initiatives.
By bolstering healthcare accessibility in the Al Dhahir, Um Ghafah, Mezyad, and neighboring areas, it seeks to empower individuals to access exceptional care conveniently close to home, thus ensuring their health needs are addressed comprehensively and promptly.
Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of DoH, expressed her profound delight at the opening of the Center, marking its significance in catering to all segments of society and providing integrated services focusing on both preventive and curative aspects.
The Center specializes in various medical fields, including Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, ENT, Urology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery.
It ensures a rapid and comprehensive treatment experience for patients across a wide spectrum of healthcare needs.
With a strong emphasis on community health, the Center boasts a robust physiotherapy and rehabilitation department to support overall well-being.
This ensures that patients receive holistic care that addresses not only their immediate medical concerns but also their long-term health goals.
Burjeel Holdings CEO John Sunil highlighted the Center’s pivotal role in expanding the care network to the broader Al Ain community, delivering accessible and efficient healthcare while simultaneously meeting the holistic healthcare needs of the local populace.
The new facility complements Burjeel Holdings’ existing medical facilities in Al Ain, ensuring integrated care with seamless coordination across the healthcare continuum.
Dr. Yasser Sedawy, Medical Director, emphasized the Center’s unwavering commitment to delivering personalized attention and the best possible outcomes for every local community member.
In February, Burjeel Holdings also announced an expansion into Saudi Arabia, revealing plans to open two specialized day surgery centers in Riyadh by 2025.
Burjeel’s board of directors approved these centers, which will specialize in delivering minimally invasive services across various medical fields, including oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and advanced gynecology.
Once fully operational, Burjeel will fully own and operate the facilities, expected to generate annual revenues ranging from US$39.9 million to US$53.3 million per center, with projected capital expenditures between US$30 million and US$40 million per center and additional working capital investments of US$10 million to US$15 million.
