CMC Dubai launches innovative “Healthcare at Home” Program

UAE— Clemenceau Medical Center Hospital Dubai (CMC Hospital Dubai) has partnered with Forevue Health Managed Care Network to introduce an advanced chronic disease management initiative, Healthcare at Home.

This program leverages cutting-edge wearable monitoring technology to provide round-the-clock medical care for individuals with chronic illnesses, all from the comfort of their homes.

As the first program of its kind in the UAE, Healthcare at Home is set to transform chronic care by reducing hospital stays by up to 70% and cutting healthcare costs by over 30%.

By deploying advanced monitoring tools, the initiative will support patients managing conditions such as Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.

These devices will track vital health indicators, including stress levels, blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, and sleep patterns.

Data collected by the wearable devices will be transmitted in real-time to a state-of-the-art operations center at CMC Hospital Dubai.

The center will operate 24/7, ensuring patients receive continuous monitoring every day of the year.

This approach aims to enhance patient outcomes by offering proactive and personalized care.

Commenting on the launch, Abdulrahman Khansaheb, Chairman of CMC Hospital Dubai, emphasized the hospital’s commitment to pioneering innovative healthcare solutions.

He noted that the program aligns with Dubai’s vision of building a world-class healthcare sector.

Healthcare at Home not only improves efficiency but also empowers patients to avoid hospital visits and live healthier lives,” he stated.

Mark Adams, CEO of CMC Hospital Dubai, highlighted the patient-centered approach of the initiative.

“This program ensures that individuals with chronic conditions receive hospital-level care without leaving their homes. It reflects our dedication to addressing patients’ unique needs while reducing the strain on families and insurers,” he explained.

The program is also expected to benefit Dubai’s insurance ecosystem by reducing the costs of frequent and often unnecessary assessments for chronic patients.

These assessments can drive up insurance premiums by 10–15%, ultimately impacting employers.

By cutting these expenses, Healthcare at Home supports the long-term sustainability of the healthcare and insurance industries in Dubai.

The program will be gradually rolled out in collaboration with Forevue Health in the coming months.

Patients managing chronic conditions are encouraged to consult their doctors for more information.
