SAUDI ARABIA – Dallah Healthcare Company has entered into a significant purchase and subscription agreement with Ayyan Investment Company, marking a strategic move to expand its healthcare services across Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of this agreement, Dallah Healthcare will acquire 100% of Al-Salam Medical Services Company in Al-Khobar and 97.4% of Al-Ahsa Medical Services Company in Hofuf.
The acquisition will be made possible by increasing Dallah Healthcare’s capital through the issuance of new shares to Ayyan Investment Company.
This initiative aligns with Dallah Healthcare’s broader strategy to enhance its healthcare services and accelerate investment growth.
However, the agreement is contingent upon receiving the necessary approvals from relevant authorities. The decision highlights Dallah Healthcare’s commitment to geographical expansion and its efforts to meet the rising demand for healthcare services across various cities in the Kingdom.
In a statement, Eng. Tarek Othman Alkasabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dallah Healthcare Company, emphasized that the company is executing a robust and ongoing strategy to expand its reach and deliver high-quality healthcare services throughout the Kingdom.
He also highlighted the strategic importance of the Eastern Province, noting its proximity to key Gulf countries such as Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Adding to this, Dr. Ahmed Babaeer, CEO of Dallah Healthcare Company, expressed that the inclusion of Al-Salam Hospital in Al-Khobar and Al-Ahsa Hospital in Hofuf will significantly bolster Dallah Healthcare’s network of hospitals.
This network already includes prominent facilities such as Dallah Al Nakheel Hospital, Dallah Namar Hospital, Kingdom Hospital & Consulting Clinics (with a 58.64 percent stake), Dr. Mohammed Al Fagih Hospital (31.21 percent stake) in Riyadh, the International Medical Center (27.18 percent stake) in Jeddah, and Makkah Medical Center (92 percent stake) in Makkah.
Dallah Clinics, Dallah Home Care, and Dallah Pharma for the pharmaceutical industry are further services provided by Dallah Healthcare.
The purchase of shares in Al-Ahsa Medical Services Company and Al-Salam Medical Services Company by Dallah Healthcare Company is the result of a memorandum of understanding signed by the latter with Ayyan Investment Company.
In addition to running several hospitals and clinics, Dallah Healthcare Company is already a reputable supplier of healthcare services, including home care services.
Dallah Hospitals has also played a major role in the Kingdom’s healthcare industry, as evidenced by the company’s 2023 report of over 2.5 million patient visits.
