UAE – Craig Cook, who has served as the Executive Director for International Operations at Cleveland Clinic, has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aviv Clinics Dubai, effective immediately.

This executive appointment comes as Aviv Clinics Dubai enters its third year in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking an exciting new chapter for the clinic.

Aviv Clinics Dubai is a wholly owned subsidiary of DP World offering the latest advancements in assessing, treating, and improving cognitive and physical performance.

The first-of-its-kind facility has a comprehensive medical program combining proprietary Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), a patented cognitive and physical training program, and personalized nutritional coaching optimized using advanced data analytics tools.

As the incoming CEO of Aviv Clinics, Craig Cook will be responsible for steering the company’s growth and business development and he will focus on the attainment of its goals and objectives.

He brings over 30 years of international leadership experience in overseeing healthcare and hospitality entities across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean, and the United States.

Upon being notified of his appointment, Cook said: “With DP World’s backing, I am confident that Aviv Clinics can continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in healthcare and help cement Dubai’s reputation as a world-class destination for medical technology and innovation.”

He observed that Aviv Clinics Dubai, with the support of DP World, is poised to be at the forefront of the healthcare industry in the UAE and the wider GCC region.

He underscored that he will work closely with the Aviv Clinics team in Dubai to build on the clinic’s mission of providing exceptional personalized healthcare to its patients and the UAE’s goal of becoming a global hub for medical tourism.

By upholding the clinic’s reputation as a world-class healthcare organization, we can attract more international and regional patients to Dubai for advanced medical treatments,” noted Cook.

Before his latest stint at Aviv Clinics, Cook has progressed through multiple executive positions in leading healthcare and hospitality organizations in the United Arab Emirates.

He has a wealth of practical expertise in healthcare strategy and service delivery, international operations, hospitality services, and the provision of top-tier concierge and VIP medicine.

The newly-appointed CEO also led large multicultural teams through operational activations, where he played a critical role in driving exceptional patient and caregiver engagement scores.

Unsurprisingly, Cook is well-suited to continue shaping Aviv Clinics’ growth story and the facility will remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of healthcare service delivery in the UAE.
