UAE – Dubai-based wellness startup Valeo is expanding access to its personalized health tracking and guided wellbeing application for individuals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Upon downloading the Valeo app, users get to choose among a variety of health packages that cater to their unique needs.

Valeo is now providing telemedicine, remote monitoring, and convenient health management services in multiple locations across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, and Makkah.

The wellbeing tech startup is bringing at-home blood testing facilities and health supplements closer to individuals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via its digital platform.

In a press release, Sundeep Sahni, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Valeo, said: “We have launched at-home blood testing services in the major cities of Saudi Arabia and supplements across all cities.”

The wellness company’s main offerings consist of at-home blood test packages curated to suit different profiles and health goals, including women’s health, men’s health, fitness, weight loss, and food intolerances.

Valeo also recently launched diverse intravenous treatments and physiotherapy sessions to cater to the specific needs of the Saudi population.

The journeys are designed to provide a comprehensive approach to solving specific issues from customized testing to connecting you with the right expert and recommending the right products all in one place,” outlined Sahni.

The company also provides a selection of grade-A supplements based on international manufacturing standards delivered straight to the app users’ doorstep, at the click of a button.

Through its services, Valeo aims to fill the gap of complicated or inconvenient healthcare experiences and empower its users to check on their health continuously.

By working together, we believe we can leverage each other’s strengths to drive innovation, improve healthcare access, and ultimately positively impact the health and well-being of the Saudi population,” outlined Sahni.

Valeo will help to address the growing need for on-demand preventive healthcare services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligning with the national cost reduction strategies.

Valeo intends to leverage advanced technologies, digital health solutions, and patient-centric approaches to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall healthcare outcomes as part of its growth strategy.

Valeo is pursuing its aggressive expansion in the Saudi healthcare market following the launch of the Health Sector Transformation Program under the Vision 2030.

The growth plans come after Valeo scooped up US$3 million in seed funding from Global Founders Capital, Global Ventures, Nuwa Capital, and FJ Lab.

Valeo can benefit from national programs like Vision 2030’s Quality of Life & Health Transformation Program and the emphasis on telemedicine and remote healthcare,” noted Sundeep Sahni.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been actively investing in developing its healthcare infrastructure and services to improve accessibility, quality, and patient outcomes.

This transformation aims to ensure continued growth and development of healthcare services in the Kingdom and to emphasize focus on this vital sector.

Ultimately, the Dubai-based startup will contribute to ongoing efforts to reduce the Gulf Cooperation Council countries’ healthcare spending.

Moreover, the company intends to make healthcare more convenient, increase the availability of preventive care and empower the Saudi population to care for themselves.

Valeo plans to expand access to preventive care in additional cities throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the launch of new offerings.

For our at-home blood tests, the plan is to expand to a new city every month and eventually cover the whole country. We believe personalized and targeted health solutions are essential in promoting better health outcomes,” stated Sundeep Sahni.

He further said that Valeo is currently identifying specific essential services and features that are valuable to the local population, noting that the company will incorporate consumers’ needs into its offerings.

Sahni disclosed that the company plans to expand its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through strategic partnerships and collaborations to empower the digital health sector.

Collaboration and partnerships are vital in the healthcare market and we are actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders including local providers, and government entities,” stressed Sahni.

What’s more, Valeo is gearing up to establish its first-ever office in Riyadh situated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the end of 2023.
