UAE – Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), has teamed up with the AI & Quantum Intelligence Institute (AIQII), the regional representative of Generative Technologies Inc., to introduce a groundbreaking AI-powered medical claims analysis system.
This innovative solution, set to be unveiled at Arab Health 2025, marks a significant step in optimizing revenue cycle management for healthcare providers within DHCC.
This collaboration is the first of its kind, bringing together a healthcare free zone authority and an AI company to streamline the medical billing process.
More than 300 healthcare providers in the DHCC ecosystem are expected to benefit from the advanced technology, which aims to reduce claim rejections, enhance first-pass acceptance rates, and minimize administrative burdens associated with medical claims processing.
The AI-driven system operates in a secure cloud environment, ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations.
Healthcare providers can simply upload their claims data, and the AI solution will automatically analyze it with minimal manual intervention.
By reviewing documentation completeness, medical necessity, coding accuracy, and policy compliance, the system helps identify potential reasons for claim denials and suggests corrective actions.
To further support providers, AIQII will launch a Beta testing program in February 2025, exclusively for the DHCC community.
Participants in this program will receive free claims analysis, with AIQII negotiating directly with insurance payers to recover lost revenue.
As an added incentive, healthcare providers will retain 50% of recovered amounts without incurring any additional costs or experiencing operational disruptions.
Once the Beta phase is successfully completed, the service will be extended across the broader DHCC network.
Dr. Akin Kazakci, Chief Scientist at AI & Quantum Intelligence Institute, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that the goal is to empower healthcare providers with cutting-edge tools to navigate the complexities of medical claims processing.
He highlighted that this collaboration reinforces DHCC’s dedication to innovation, positioning it as a leader in adopting transformative healthcare technologies.
Echoing this sentiment, Jaffar Bin Jaffar, Director of Partnerships at DHCA, remarked that the initiative reflects DHCC’s ongoing commitment to setting new industry benchmarks.
By embracing AI-driven solutions, he added, healthcare providers can enhance their efficiency while building sustainable business models.
This initiative comes at a crucial time, as the UAE recently introduced a mandatory basic health insurance policy for private-sector employees and domestic workers.
With an expected rise in medical claims, AIQII’s technology will enable healthcare providers to manage the increased workload accurately and transparently, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for healthcare innovation.
