EGYPT – Alameda Healthcare Group (Alameda) has signed an exclusive strategic partnership agreement with Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche to improve patient access to cutting-edge diagnostics and innovative treatments.
Through this new partnership, Roche is set to debut the Oncology Patient Support Program in private Egyptian hospitals through Alameda Healthcare Group.
The Oncology Patient Support Program seeks to reduce treatment costs incurred, promote early disease detection, and tackle healthcare challenges faced by cancer patients seeking treatment in private healthcare facilities.
This oncology program is anticipated to bring a comprehensive approach to shorten the duration of treatment for oncology patients, improve health outcomes and ultimately, revolutionize cancer care in Egypt.
As part of this partnership, Alameda and Roche will bring together their respective extensive range of resources and expertise to drive innovation in healthcare.
These strategic investments are a clear reflection of Roche’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and equitable access to healthcare.
In an official note, Dr. Fahad Khater, Chairman of Alameda Group, said: “The implementation of professional devices with full connectivity through “Infinity Edge” middleware for point-of-care testing will establish a comprehensive audit trail, meticulously tracking the entire process from warehouse to patient invoicing.”
The agreement will build on the Group’s efforts to adopt new diagnostic technologies at its facilities to deliver the best possible care, and, in turn, improve the experience of patients and their families.
Roche will distribute cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technology to Alameda’s healthcare facilities to support radiologists in the Oncology Patient Support Program.
Alameda will also work closely with Roche to update its hospital laboratories with state-of-the-art instruments to deliver accurate, timely, and patient-centered diagnostic results.
Alameda’s staff will harness the power of upgraded SWA instruments to promote the early detection of diseases, ensure diagnostic accuracy, and enhance patient safety.
In turn, physicians will use evidence-based diagnostic results to begin effective treatments and timely medical interventions to improve patient outcomes.
The strategic alliance marks a significant step forward in Alameda Healthcare Group’s continued emergence as one of the leading private healthcare service providers in
Egypt.“The Group will continue to foster meaningful connections and explore potential collaborations that contribute to the development of robust healthcare systems and improved patient outcomes across the African continent,” stated Dr. Fahad Khater.
