EGYPT – Alameda Healthcare Group (Alameda) has joined forces with Medtronic to establish a new Neuroscience Center of Excellence in the capital of Egypt.
In collaboration with Medtronic, Alameda’s Neuroscience Center of Excellence is equipped with the StealthStation S8 Surgical Navigation system.
The launch ceremony of the Neuroscience Center of Excellence was well-attended by senior officials, including Neeraj Mishra, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alameda Healthcare, and Professor Hossam Salah, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University.
In an official note, Neeraj Mishra, Group CEO of Alameda Healthcare, said: “The launch of the Neuroscience Center of Excellence stands testament to Alameda’s commitment to introducing best-in-class technology and raising the bar for healthcare excellence in Egypt and the region.”
Notably, the collaboration between Alameda and Medtronic is anticipated to enhance the availability and accessibility of state-of-the-art, precise, and patient-centric surgical care to patients across the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Alameda has made a series of investments with the sole objective of improving patient outcomes in the era of neuroscience including the introduction of Leica’s most advanced microscope.
In the course of this year, the group has also seen As Salam International Hospital in Maadi and Dar Al Fouad Hospital acquire the JCI Stroke accreditation.
The collaboration between Alameda and Medtronic is in line with the group’s ongoing endeavors to leverage global communications and leading technologies to deliver medical care to patients in Egypt.
Additionally, the launch event of Alameda’s new neuroscience center featured a panel discussion led by Dr. Ramy Amin, a distinguished professor of neurosurgery at Cairo University.
Renowned medical consultants as well as leading neurosurgeons, and neurologists were featured as keynote speakers at the panel talk.
The panel discussion delved into the key role Alameda’s new center would play in enhancing the quality of critical facets of neurosurgery.
Furthermore, the speakers applauded Alameda’s efforts at improving the standards of care available to patients through the use of innovative technology.
It was an interactive platform where various distinguished speakers discussed how Medtronic’s StealthStation S8 Surgical Navigation System is poised to play a pivotal role in the advancement of neurosurgery.
