UAE—Emirates Health Services (EHS) has made progress in implementing the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme to improve customer experience through specialised telemedicine services.
According to Emirates News Agency, this project will now helps over 2,200 people per year, including individuals with chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
Additionally, it will enable procedure simplification and expedited telemedicine service delivery, both of which are essential components of EHS’s goal.
This strategy has simplified the healthcare procedure and significantly reduced over 4,400 annual visits to service centres.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of Emirates Health Services’ Financial and Support Services Sector, highlighted that these improvements are critical to EHS’s objective of eliminating bureaucracy and continuously improving telemedicine services.
He emphasised that these milestones are part of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which strives to provide flexible and excellent healthcare services that exceed consumer expectations while also contributing to the UAE’s quality of life.
In addition to celebrating these achievements, Dr. Al Zarooni reaffirmed EHS’s unwavering commitment to pursuing innovation and development across various health service domains.
