UAE – The Emirates Health Services has earned a five-year accreditation from the National Institute for Health Specialties (NIHS) for its Family Medicine Programme.
The accreditation earned by Emirates Health Services from the National Institute for Health Specialties stands as a testament to EHS’s commitment to upholding international healthcare standards.
This recognition is the outcome of an assessment and inspection process to ensure the Family Medicine Programme of all central departments and healthcare facilities at Emirates Health Services meets the Emirates Board’s accreditation criteria.
It is the culmination of years of combined efforts of the administration and the skilled professionals to deliver excellent healthcare services at EHS’s diverse departments and healthcare facilities.
In a press release, Dr. Layla Omran Taryam, Consultant Neonatologist and Head of Medical Education at EHS, said: “The NIHS accreditation is vital for maintaining the track record of successes and to strive for further achievements, which calls for sustained enhancements, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to pursue pioneering initiatives.”
Status as an accredited Family Medicine Programme means that Emirates Health Services has met nationally and internationally recognized standards and requirements.
