INDIA – Eye-Q Vision Private Limited has successfully installed a brand-new customized LASIK machine at its super specialty eye hospital in Rewari in the Indian state of Haryana.
Located in the operating rooms of the Eye-Q Hospital in Rewari, the Advanced Customised LASIK machine is designed to cater to the needs of patients with various visual conditions.
It is suited to meet the needs of patients with mild or severe near-sightedness with or without astigmatism, far-sightedness with or without astigmatism, and mixed astigmatism.
What’s more, Eye-Q is gearing up to treat approximately 100 patients with the advanced LASIK machine installed at its super specialty hospital in Rewari before the end of 2023.
In a press release, Eye-Q said, “The Advanced Customised LASIK machine results in highly, effective reliable procedures with painless experiences, exceptional safety, predictability, and remarkable precision.”
Installation of the new LASIK machine at the Eye-Q Hospital in Rewari is in line with Eye-Q’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals, particularly by providing a non-traditional option to youth aged 18-35 years.
Eye-Q’s clinicians will use the new LASIK machine leveraging advanced technology to deliver fully-customized laser vision correction procedures to their patients and improve health outcomes.
“The FDA-approved machine combines the advanced technologies of the WaveScan WaveFront System and the VISX STAR S4 IR Excimer Laser with Iris Registration (IR),” the hospital announced.
The wavefront-driven machine incorporates VISX’s exclusive and proven mathematical formulas to empower doctors to precisely measure and correct unique imperfections as per the patient’s needs.
This special treatment offers a shorter hospital stay and faster recovery time, low post-operative pain, and requires no special wound hygiene measures because a smaller incision is required.
