Galean Hospital receives JCI recognition

UAE – Sharjah-based Galean Hospital has achieved a significant milestone by being awarded the prestigious accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), an organization recognized globally for its leadership in healthcare quality and patient safety.

This accreditation was granted after JCI found that Galean Hospital met the “international healthcare quality standards for patient care and organizational management,” reflecting its commitment to excellence.

As part of its mission, JCI partners with hospitals, clinics, academic medical centers, health systems, government ministries, and international advocates in over 70 countries to promote high standards of care and provide solutions for achieving peak healthcare performance.

Gaelan Hospital is a subsidiary of the UAE-headquartered Ghassan Aboud Group, an international conglomerate involved in several economic sectors, including healthcare, automotive, food, retail, hospitality, logistics, and digital platforms.

Commenting on the recognition, Ahmad Aboud, Group CFO at Ghassan Aboud Group, emphasized that Gaelan Hospital is equipped with advanced medical equipment and facilities, offering services across a broad range of specialties.

He noted that this JCI accreditation is a testament to the hospital’s skilled team and their dedication to healthcare excellence.

Aboud further pledged the group’s commitment to advancing healthcare standards in the UAE in the coming years.

Gaelan Hospital operates as a one-day surgery facility, offering an integrated healthcare system that covers preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services.

It has positioned itself as a trusted healthcare provider for families seeking comprehensive medical care in Sharjah.

With a focus on making healthcare more accessible, Gaelan Hospital is approved by several prominent insurance providers, including recent additions such as Daman and Sukoon, along with other leading insurers.

In addition to its healthcare ventures, Ghassan Aboud Group is also involved in transformative public-private partnerships in the food and automotive industries.

Gaelan Hospital’s latest achievement further solidifies the group’s commitment to excellence across all its sectors.
