SAUDI ARABIA—GE HealthCare, a global leader in medical technology and digital solutions, has entered into a significant multi-modality partnership with Hayat National Hospitals.

This collaboration represents a major investment in Saudi Arabia’s healthcare infrastructure, as it aims to elevate healthcare services across the Kingdom.

The partnership was announced at the 2024 Global Health Exhibition, marking a key milestone for both organisations.

GE HealthCare will provide state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technologies to three new Hayat National Hospitals in Muhayl Aseer, Baysh, and Buraida through this agreement.

This initiative is designed to greatly improve healthcare access and quality for residents in these regions, reflecting both companies’ commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and strengthening the Kingdom’s healthcare infrastructure.

A cornerstone of this partnership is GE HealthCare’s introduction of its first SIGNA™ Victor system in Saudi Arabia.

This advanced imaging solution utilizes deep learning to deliver exceptional image quality while enhancing patient comfort and reducing operational costs.

The system will be integrated into the Hayat National Hospitals, enabling healthcare providers to offer more precise diagnoses and treatment options.

Additionally, the hospitals will benefit from a comprehensive suite of medical imaging solutions, further enhancing their capabilities as they expand to a total bed capacity of 3,000.

Dr. Fouziyah AlJarallah, Group CEO of Hayat National Hospitals, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that embracing cutting-edge technology is key to their vision of redefining healthcare in Saudi Arabia.

She emphasized that the partnership with GE HealthCare will enable them to harness innovative imaging technologies to serve a wider population, ultimately making world-class healthcare more accessible.

Dr. AlJarallah also noted that this collaboration plays a pivotal role in their expansion strategy, allowing them to build a more robust healthcare ecosystem throughout the Kingdom.

Echoing these sentiments, Mohammad Elkhoury, General Manager for GE HealthCare in the Middle East, highlighted the significance of this investment for the future of healthcare in Saudi Arabia.

He remarked that the partnership with Hayat National Hospitals aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 agenda, a strategic framework to transform the country’s healthcare sector.

Elkhoury added that the advanced technologies provided by GE HealthCare would empower medical professionals at Hayat National Hospitals to deliver faster, more accurate diagnoses and treatment plans across various specialities, ultimately leading to better patient care.

GE HealthCare and Hayat National Hospitals actively support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals by leveraging innovative technologies and fostering strategic partnerships.

With healthcare positioned as a national priority, the Kingdom has committed US$65 billion to improving its healthcare infrastructure, representing 60% of the total healthcare spending across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
