Hakkini Mental Health Clinics opens first facility in Dubai Healthcare City

For advanced treatments, Hakkini offers specialized rooms for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Clinical Neurofeedback, enhanced with red light therapy to create a calming and therapeutic environment.

UAE—Hakkini Mental Health Clinics has officially opened its first medical facility at Dubai Healthcare City (DHC), offering comprehensive assessments and advanced neuroscience-led treatments for psychological and developmental conditions.

The clinic provides expert therapy support for children, families, and adults, all under one roof.

The clinic spans over 5,000 square feet and includes 21 therapy rooms, an activity room, and a dedicated Neuropsychology treatment room.

A multidisciplinary team of psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists work together to support patients of all ages.

The assessment room is equipped with high-tech computerized neuropsychological tools, enabling precise and thorough evaluations.

For advanced treatments, Hakkini offers specialized rooms for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Clinical Neurofeedback, enhanced with red light therapy to create a calming and therapeutic environment.

These cutting-edge, non-invasive therapies are part of the clinic’s commitment to combining the latest neuroscience with compassionate, personalized care.

Adam Griffin, CEO and Medical Director, emphasized the clinic’s mission to deliver science-based, individualized care that brings clarity and lasting support.

He highlighted that Hakkini integrates innovative neuroscience techniques like TMS with expert therapy from a world-class team, aligning with the UAE’s National Quality of Life Strategy 2031 and supporting the nation’s leadership in mental health innovation.

The UAE’s private sector has recently taken proactive steps to raise mental health awareness, including Dubai becoming the first certified autism-friendly destination in the Eastern Hemisphere and Emirates airline becoming the world’s first autism-certified airline.

Dr. Alexandre Machado, Clinical Director at Hakkini, noted that these initiatives reflect growing societal awareness and the availability of effective, personalized, and non-invasive mental health treatments.

Mental health disorders significantly impact global productivity, with the economic burden estimated to reach US$6.1 trillion by 2030, largely due to absenteeism and reduced performance at work.

Nabil Al Rantisi, Co-Founder of Hakkini, pointed out that workplace mental health issues like depression and anxiety are increasingly recognized worldwide.

Hakkini has developed a neuroscience-based program to help organizations understand and improve cognitive and emotional factors affecting employee wellbeing, such as burnout, focus, and decision-making.

The UAE’s mental health market revenue is projected to reach approximately US$149 million in 2025.

In response to rising demand, Hakkini plans to expand its team to 25-30 certified clinicians by the end of 2025 and over 40 by the end of 2026.

The current team includes neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and registered nurses.

They offer a wide range of services, including neuropsychological assessments, TMS, clinical neurofeedback, supportive psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, psychology and counseling, psychiatry, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

The team speaks multiple languages, including Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and Hindi.

Hakkini Mental Health Clinics operates seven days a week from 9 am to 8 pm, with plans to extend hours from 8 am to 10 pm to meet growing demand.

The clinic’s approach focuses on understanding the root causes of mental health challenges through precise assessments and delivering personalized, non-invasive treatments that promote lasting improvement and clarity for patients of all ages.
