UAE – Harley International Medical Clinic has launched its digital health platform, MUWAFA, allowing users to access its full range of healthcare services via mobile.
The app is designed to facilitate effective patient-focused care, personalized experiences, and knowledge sharing between Harley International Medical Clinic and its patients.
Besides introducing the MUWAFA app, Harley International Medical Clinic has kickstarted its patient portal.
The healthcare app represents a huge step in the group’s journey towards digital transformation, as it will allow access to various services to registered patients and members.
Harley International Medical Clinic is a Joint Venture between AppCorp Global and Lal’s Group of Companies.
Since its inception in 2005, the Dubai-based medical clinic provides the best standards of healthcare treatment.
The clinic aims to deliver desired treatment outcomes with complete confidentiality of patients and transparency of the treatment.
The launch of its healthcare app aligns with Harley International Medical Clinic’s strategy to improve primary care across the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Patients can send secure messages, schedule appointments, stay connected 24/7 for telehealth consultations, maintain health data, and access medical treatment via its new mobile app.
“The MUWAFA App will be available for download on the Google Play Store, followed by its release on the iOS App Store,” Harley International Medical Clinic said.
The MUWAFA app allows users and their families to choose care when and where they want through at-home health services.
It will enable registered patients and members to discuss the results of examinations and treatment plans with the doctor without the need to visit the Harley International Medical Clinic.
“Patients can use the app to manage medical files for family members and track active treatment plans, search for specialist doctors and book appointments with them, as well as make inquiries about ongoing health packages,” the facility underscored.
In addition, the app is tailor-made to match the requirements of the digital age allowing users 24-hour access to personal health information.
“Patients can access and monitor their medical records or prescription details remotely without having to visit an outpatient facility,” the medical clinic highlighted.
The MUWAFA app is an integral part of the Harley International Medical Clinics’ pioneering model in the field of health care, in line with the Ministry of Health’s plans for digital transformation.
“This launch comes in line with our ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and well-being of all members of society,” said Mr. Neeraj Teckchandani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Apparel Group.
He said that Harley International Medical Clinic works closely with all relevant authorities in the UAE to improve the quality of care in health facilities.
“We are keen to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence and bolster the digital infrastructure of the healthcare sector, as well as provide a comprehensive digital platform that allows access to medical support and guidance to all members of the society,” Mr. Teckchandani added.
