UAE—Healthpoint, part of the M42 group and renowned for its excellence in sports medicine and orthopaedic care, has been named the official medical partner of the forthcoming Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open.
This marks the second consecutive year of their partnership with the event, presented by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

This partnership reinforces Healthpoint’s commitment to providing top-notch medical care during the prestigious WTA 500 event, which will be held from February 1–8 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City, in Abu Dhabi.
The tournament will showcase some of the world’s best female tennis players, including defending champion Elena Rybakina and fan favourite Daria Kasatkina, among other top-ranked players on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tour.
This year promises another incredible field of talent, making the event even more exciting.
As the official medical partner, Healthpoint will provide comprehensive medical services to ensure that athletes maintain peak performance, recover quickly, and prioritize their overall well-being throughout the competition.
Their team will also manage an on-site interactive booth, where visitors can engage with top medical experts and learn about the latest innovations in sports medicine.
Healthpoint’s team of specialists, including Dr. Sebastian Kunz (Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon), Dr. Shimas Salih (Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), and Dr. Hind Elamin (General Practitioner), will oversee the tournament’s Medical Center and First Aid booth.
They will provide personalized care to both athletes and attendees, ensuring that medical support is readily available.
