INDIA – Bonatra has bolstered its capabilities in the holistic healthcare sector with the acquisition of MyAva, a FemTech startup focused on empowering women to manage chronic health conditions.

This deal comes as Indian-based healthtech startup is gearing up to launch new Internet-connected medical devices, including a smart ring, into the Indian market.

The expansion plan follows Bonatra’s Pre-Seed funding round led by ITI Growth Opportunities Fund with participation from marquee angel investors.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Bonatra is a holistic health start-up offering a unified health stack solution to treat, manage, and reverse chronic diseases.

The doctor-led IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) company focuses on treating and managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease), and obesity.

Its health experts analyse multiple data points and health parameters using various easy-to-use IoMT devices to create personalized treatment options for different patients with chronic diseases.

With the acquisition of MyAva, Bonatra seeks to build its holistic healthcare programs and aims to be a one-stop platform for the management of chronic health conditions.

The deal aligns with Bonatra’s vision of making chronic care management accessible to all women while building on its commitment to making inclusive and integrated care solutions.

This unique combination of MyAva’s curated programs and personalized plans and Bonatra’s personalised treatment options is expected to empower people to take proactive measures to prevent, manage, and reverse chronic health conditions.

Bonatra, which integrates clinical acumen with technology to achieve holistic health, offers personalised, targeted lifestyle, nutritional, and fitness interventions to balance hormones.

These solutions supplement hormone-driven processes with different functional methods of gut reset, correcting imbalances in gut bacteria, and harnessing natural detox procedures to reduce heavy metal toxicity in the body.

As part of the integration, MyAva will join Bonatra to further drive its growth and cement its position as a leading holistic care player.

Commenting on the strategic deal, Rahul Kishore Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Bonatra, stated: “Acquiring MyAva enables us to expand our reach and deepen our expertise in women’s health, specifically for conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).”

He disclosed that the Bonatra team will work closely with the MyAva team to further strengthen its expertise in holistic healthcare solutions, adding its healthcare offerings are a convergence of medical science, data science, and technology.
