SAUDI ARABIA – International SOS – Al Rushaid, a joint venture between International SOS and Saudi conglomerate Al Rushaid Group, has expanded its footprint into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) with the opening of its new international healthcare landmark in Al Khobar.
The Al Khobar Medical Complex, which is managed by International SOS – Al Rushaid, has qualified medical professionals to deliver high-quality healthcare services, and ultimately improve the overall well-being of the population of Saudi Arabia.
The new medical facility offers a wide range of healthcare services, including dental care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics care, internal medicine, family medicine, and ophthalmology.
In addition, the International SOS Medical Complex (ISMC) in Khobar has an emergency department designed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, thus ensuring continuous operations.
Additionally, the medical complex is equipped with boasts state-of-the-art equipment and it has expert local and international medical professionals to provide an unparalleled level of care to families in Al Khobar.
The Al Khobar-based facility also houses one of the largest medical laboratories to be hosted in a medical complex in the region to provide superior healthcare to local Saudis and international assignees living and working in the area.
Moreover, the opening of the new medical complex builds on the momentum of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reforms while enriching local communities in which the Al Rushaid JV operates.
The inauguration ceremony saw the attendance of Sheikh Rasheed Al Rushaid, Chairman of Al Rushaid Group, and Laurent Sabourin, Managing Director of International SOS Group, accompanied by senior government officials.
“Our Group has been well known to bring in worldwide industry leaders and exchange expertise to enrich our Saudi young talent and professionals, a step bringing us all towards achieving Vision 2030,” said Sheikh Rasheed Al Rushaid, Chairman of Al Rushaid Group.
He outlined that the Saudi group has plans to increase its footprint in the Eastern Province and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to always provide the highest quality of service and care to patients, families, and communities.
On his part, Laurent Sabourin, Managing Director of International SOS Group stated: “We are bringing over 35 years of international medical leadership experience to Saudi Arabia. Also, we are here to uphold these values and make a positive contribution to the community.”
Al Borg Diagnostics Company recently signed a five-year strategic partnership agreement with the International SOS Medical Complex, to operate and manage its medical laboratories across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
