ETHIOPIA— YeneHealth, a leading femtech startup in Ethiopia, has announced that Kenya-based health-focused venture capital firm, Jaza Rift Ventures, will lead its pre-seed round.
YeneHealth is an early-stage femtech startup based out of Ethiopia and has built the first local and culturally responsive menstrual tracking and comprehensive sexual & reproductive healthcare service digital platform designed for African women.
Moreover, by leveraging technology and the power of Artificial intelligence to offer users a learning portal, a women-centered e-pharmacy, and telemed services from the privacy and convenience of their phones.
The investment from Jaza Rift Ventures will accelerate YeneHealth’s role as a frontrunner in the femtech space on the continent.
The strategic investment will poise YeneHealth to embark on an exciting next phase of growth and further solidify its position in the industry.
Jaza Rift notes that the funds will be utilized to expand the platform’s reach, enhance product development, and establish strategic partnerships.
