SAUDI ARABIA – Johnson & Johnson MedTech KSA (J&J MedTech KSA) has entered into a multi-year logistics service contract with Tamer Logistics, a third-party logistics (3PL) company.

As a subsidiary of Tamer Group, the fully-fledged logistics company offers the best-in-class total supply chain logistics solutions for its customers.

Under the strategic deal, J&J MedTech KSA will become the official third-party logistics provider of Tamer Logistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

J&J MedTech KSA sought the support of a local 3PL provider to handle the transport & warehousing of its MedTech product portfolio in the Kingdom,” the company said in a press release.

This move is in line with J&J MedTech’s strategic plan of transforming its go-to-market model, which involves establishing direct operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the end of 2024.

The MedTech company intends to expand its direct operations and solidify its position as a strategic partner focused on reimagining healthcare and addressing unmet needs in the region.

Throughout the transformation journey, cutting-edge medical solutions will be made available to its customers in Saudi Arabia in line with Saudi’s Health Sector Transformation Program – Vision 2030.

J&J MedTech will support healthcare priorities, in particular the integration of technology-driven solutions and consistent delivery of care to the ever-growing population throughout the kingdom.

Through this first step of J&J’s MedTech KSA’s transformation in Saudi Arabia, healthcare entities will have access to improved end-to-end services of the company’s specialty solutions,” stated the MedTech firm.

The company will distribute its innovative devices and technologies in the areas of surgery, orthopedics, neurovascular, and cardiovascular to Saudi-based entities designed to provide treatment for a range of medical conditions.

Moreover, it will create job opportunities for Saudi Nationals over the coming months and contribute to improved patient outcomes and access to medical interventions.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Marzena Kulis, Managing Director of J&J MedTech in the Middle East, observed that the Saudi healthcare market is evolving at a rapid rate.

We have been agile in our response of initiating foundational initiatives to better serve our customers with premium and comprehensive end-to-end services,” noted Kulis.

She underscored that J&J MedTech remains committed to meeting the demand for consistent and top-tier medical technologies in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, Johnson & Johnson MedTech KSA will continue to invest in expanding its service offerings for customers across the region.
