Coinciding with this monumental shift is the reduction of 574 positions across esteemed institutions such as Tufts Medical Center, Lowell General Hospital, and MelroseWakefield Hospital.

This recalibration, elucidated through a Massachusetts Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice, is expected to be finalized in October, concurrent with the anticipated Labcorp acquisition.
