LAU Medical Center’s Diabetic Foot Clinic ranked 4th best globally

LEBANON—The Lebanese American University (LAU) Medical Center-Rizk Hospital has achieved a significant milestone with its Diabetic Foot Clinic being ranked 4th globally for its exceptional research on diabetic foot ulcers.

This prestigious ranking was highlighted in a recent bibliometric analysis published in the esteemed journal Heliyon, titled “Bibliometric analysis of systematic review and meta-analysis on diabetic foot ulcer.”

This outstanding achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery & Trauma, under the leadership of Professor Chahine Assi.

Special recognition has been given to Professor Kaissar (Cesar) Yammine, Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Program Director of the Residency in Orthopedics, and Head of the Diabetic Foot Clinic.
