UGANDA – Africa’s inclusive finance provider Letshego Group has entered into a strategic partnership with healthcare group BrandMed to launch an instant digital access to wellness and affordable health solutions for African communities.
BrandMed is a leading, digitally-savvy healthcare Group, that continuously reimagines health, using technology to empower a better quality of life for healthcare practitioners, patients and funders.
It strives for a global, people-centric, integrated, outcome-inspired health and wellbeing ecosystem that is advanced by validated, simple and solution-driven technologies, visionary leaders who care, verified life science together with value sharing partnerships.
The collaboration will enable Letshego to offer quality digitized wellness services, health facts and advice to communities including virtual medical consultations through a multichannel digital platform called LetsGo Digital Mall.
The online platform provides instant digital access and affordable health solutions in various dimensions while supporting customers with better health, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing awareness.
In partnership with BrandMed, wellness services in the LetsGo Digital Mall will be the first in Letshego’s LetsGo Lifestyle series of solutions and offerings aimed at improving healthcare delivery and saving lives.
The partnership with Letshego Africa will allow BrandMed to fully leverage the Group’s regional digitalization strategy to promote equality in accessing wellness solutions that assist in closing the gap in broader communities being able to expert medical care.
Digital access will also enable African communities at high-risk or those who may be immobile to seek help and support for their health and wellbeing wherever they may be located.
Moreover, the partnership will help bridge the gap between demand and delivery of reliable, quality healthcare at a time when the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the health inequity existing across communities.
The Letshego Uganda Chief Executive Officer Giles Germany Aijukwe acknowledged that the wellness services under the deal will also be rolled out in Uganda, noting that the LetsGo Digital Wellbeing platform is currently live on the company’s Mall in Uganda.
“If you haven’t already registered, we invite all our customers, partners as well as stakeholders to register on our LetsGo Digital Mall and join the new age revolution in digitizing wellness and healthcare,” said Chief Executive Officer Giles.
He assured that the new wellness platform will increase access to more affordable, expert healthcare, wellness and nutritional advice to support members of the communities where the company operates.
He further said that the collaboration was in line with the Letshego’s mission of being customer-led and moving beyond financial services thus the digital wellbeing offering was significant to the holistic lifestyle needs of Letshego customers
