UAE – Lifecare Hospital, located in Musaffah, has launched its new advanced emergency department that will serve the region’s sizeable industrial workforce with the highest quality of critical care.

In a press release, Lifecare Hospital said: “The Emergency Department is supported by highly trained board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff who will collaborate to ensure every patient receives high-quality care safely and promptly.”

Located in Abu Dhabi, it is one of the two multi-specialty medical centres under Lifecare Hospitals that provides patients with a wide range of medical services across multiple specialties.

The hospital, a unit of Burjeel Holdings, is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and skilled medical staff to offer cost-effective, specialized, high-quality medical care to industrial and residential communities in Musaffah.

Subsequently, the newly designed emergency department at Lifecare Hospital has opened its doors to blue-collar workers and residents experiencing life-threatening emergencies, major medical concerns, and minor injuries.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) granted the licence to Lifecare Hospital, which met all the requirements to provide emergency care services to the emirate’s residents,” the institution announced in a release.

By obtaining the licence from DoH, the hospital will be able to offer emergency care to the people of the area through a well-trained and dedicated team of experts as well as evidence-based protocols.

Life Hospital stated that the new department is well-equipped with experienced emergency and trauma care experts who will provide round-the-clock medical care and treatment for industrial and occupational construction site injuries.

In addition, it has emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff, and specialists who will promptly provide services in cardiac care, neurosurgery, pulmonology, neurology, ENT, urology, and internal medicine.

The emergency care unit will also provide treatments for cardiac emergencies, strokes, asthma attacks, and allergic reactions sustained at industrial and occupational construction sites in Abu Dhabi’s Musaffah area.

The department specialises in wound management, heat strokes, burns, scalds, fractures, dislocations, crush injuries, head injuries, and spinal trauma. It is also assisted by a pre-hospital ambulance service that provides CPR and stabilisation on the ground,” the hospital informed.

Furthermore, the launch of emergency services is another step towards creating an advanced healthcare ecosystem in and around the industrial belt of Musaffah particularly providing care quickly, efficiently, and accurately.

As part of its outreach programme, the hospital will conduct awareness campaigns on emergency care and healthcare screenings in industrial zones,” the Lifecare Hospital in Musaffah reaffirmed its community.
