UAE – Lifenity International, a leader in the field of life sciences and healthcare solutions across the globe, has unveiled its newest integrated clinical pathology & genomic laboratory in the Emirate of Dubai.

Lifenity International offers comprehensive testing services in-house to support patients’ complete diagnostics requirements.

According to the company’s statement, the group is looking to expand further its presence in the European Union and Latin American regions.

Lifenity International has a wide presence across the world, including in India, the Maldives, the United Kingdom, nearly 14 countries in Africa, and now, the United Arab Emirates.

Situated at Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Lifenity’s state-of-the-art laboratory is designed to advance research in human genome variations.

The latest integrated clinical pathology & genomic laboratory in Dubai will be part of the group’s global network, aligning with the group’s commitment to excellence in the healthcare industry.

In a press release, the group said: “The new integrated clinical pathology & genomic lab will study a wide range of diseases and conditions in relation to genome variations and disease susceptibility.”

The new Lifenity Genome Lab will focus on studying the profound impact that genome variations have on susceptibility to diseases, along with the development and progression of diseases.

The in-house testing lab will offer a wide array of services, including LCMS (Complete Vitamin Profiling), haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, mycology, serology, preventive healthcare, immunochemistry, molecular, and diagnostic genomics.

This integrated clinical pathology & genomic laboratory in the Middle East was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Vijay Dhawangale, the Founder and Chairman of Lifenity International.

Speaking about the significance of the laboratory, Mr. Vijay Dhawangale, Chairman of Lifenity International, said: “Our integrated approach, cutting-edge technologies, and comprehensive testing services will serve patients in the field of genomic diagnostics. “

Researchers at the new facility will utilise Illumina and Thermo-Fisher microarrays for population-scale genetic variant screening and precision medicine to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

Researchers will also use next-generation sequencing techniques to examine genomic variations associated with predictive healthcare, hereditary diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases.

With the new state-of-the-art facility, they will also conduct panels for cardiac and gastrointestinal risk, along with correlation studies of current health parameters.

Through impactful research, we aim to advance preventive and predictive healthcare, making it accessible to everyone,” underscored Mr. Vijay Dhawangale.

The state-of-the-art laboratory’s opening comes as Lifenity is gearing up to complement its existing research by offering a range of genetic services for patients.

Patients will have access to routine body check-ups, predictive and diagnostic genetic tests, disease progression monitoring, and other genetic services at Lifenity’s new lab in Dubai

This joint effort will empower individuals to identify health concerns, understand genetic conditions, confirm diagnoses, and track treatment efficacy.

It will build on the group’s ongoing efforts to promote healthy living through the continual development of need-based genetic tests and availing these tests closer to the clients it serves.

Trusted by over 1,000 doctors and more than 250 laboratories, Lifenity International has been at the forefront of providing innovative and comprehensive healthcare solutions to its clients.

Lifenity is keen to collaborate with healthcare facilities in the region to deliver genetic services for predictive treatments and preventive care,” pointed out Mr. Vijay Dhawangale.

The new lab will leverage Lifenity’s vast experience in large-scale diagnostics to bring invaluable expertise in mass screening, diagnostics, and healthcare services to physicians and patients in Dubai.

Moreover, researchers at the new facility will work closely with Lifenity’s experts, government agencies, and technology partners to advance studies of human genetic variations.

As a global referral laboratory, Lifenity supports healthcare facilities by providing information, education, and communication required to offer these services to patients effectively,” stated Mr. Vijay Dhawangale
