UAE – M42, a global health-tech leader, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADGM Academy, the knowledge arm of Abu Dhabi’s international financial center.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward enhancing the skills of Emirati professionals through targeted educational and experiential programs over the next few years.
It aligns with the UAE’s broader vision to upskill its workforce, particularly through technical training, preparing Emiratis to contribute more effectively to its ongoing growth and prosperity.
The signing ceremony took place at ADGM Academy, where Abdulla Al Suwaidi, a member of the ADGM Academy Board of Directors, and Faisal Al Mulla, Acting Group Chief Human Capital Officer at M42, provided a comprehensive overview of the partnership’s objectives.
This partnership aims to establish an educational hub that will train the next generation of Emirati professionals in a range of health-tech roles and equip current employees with the necessary skills to navigate an evolving job market.
The collaboration will play a key role in the National Development Program and the Financial Job Centre, offering essential knowledge and training to both new and existing Emirati talent within M42.
To ensure the programs meet industry demands, new courses and training modules will be developed in line with critical skill sets required for the health-tech sector.
Through partnerships with private hospitals and government entities, ADGM Academy aims to create a well-prepared workforce that will contribute to both national progress and economic prosperity.
Speaking about the partnership, Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the ADGM Academy Board of Directors, highlighted the academy’s commitment to empowering UAE nationals with leadership skills, confidence, and the tools necessary for career success.
He emphasized that the initiative addresses the immediate needs of the workforce and supports the long-term goals of the UAE National Agenda.
The partnership’s focus on skill development will contribute significantly to the growth of the UAE’s knowledge-based economy.
Al Mazrouei further stressed that investing in Emirati talent today ensures that tomorrow’s leaders are well-equipped to excel in a rapidly evolving job market.
Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of M42 and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Chairman echoed these sentiments, describing the partnership as crucial to empowering Emirati professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to support the UAE’s strategic priorities.
Al Nowais explained that M42 is committed to building a future-ready workforce and will work closely with ADGM Academy to establish an educational hub that fills skills gaps and retains top Emirati talent, supporting the transformation of the local and global healthcare sectors.
He added that M42 is investing not only in education but in the ongoing professional development of Emirati employees, ensuring their career growth is boundless.
