EGYPT—Maqam Misr Developments has revealed its third project in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital (NAC), the Q CLINICS medical complex, which represents a significant investment of EGP 1.2 billion (USD$23.7 million).
Al-Saeed Shaaban, Chairperson of Maqam Misr Developments, shared that the project covers an area of 3,000 square meters in the MU7 district, located directly across from the Central Business District (CBD).
The complex will include clinics of various sizes, starting at 40 square meters, along with commercial spaces designed to complement its healthcare-focused mission.
The project’s architectural consultancy has been entrusted to YBA—Yasser Al Beltagy Architects, which is known for its expertise in designing both local and international landmarks.
Shaaban confirmed that excavation work for Q CLINICS has already commenced, with an official customer launch scheduled for mid-January.
The Emirati Eltizam Group, a leading global management firm, will be overseeing the project’s operations.
Additionally, Maqam Misr has secured four plots of land in the NAC, with three projects currently in different stages of development.
The company also plans to launch its fourth project in the first quarter of 2025.
Shaaban further revealed that Maqam Misr has signed a cooperation agreement with YBA to serve as the consultant for all of its ongoing and future projects, leveraging YBA’s established reputation for excellence.
Shaaban also spoke about the company’s broader expansion strategy.
Domestically, Maqam Misr plans to continue its investments in the NAC, alongside projects in Sheikh Zayed and the Delta region.
Internationally, the company has already made its mark in Saudi Arabia, where it is focused on residential developments.
The company is also making considerable progress on its ongoing projects. The foundations and first basement level of the East Tower5 project have already been completed.
Situated in Downtown NAC, East Tower5 spans 3,585 square meters and offers views of a 28,000-square-meter garden.
This mixed-use development will include commercial units, a restaurant area, and a food court and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, excavation work for Maqam Misr’s second project, QEAST, is progressing smoothly, with its foundational work already finished.
Covering 3,380 square meters, QEAST is located along the eastern axis of Downtown NAC, directly overlooking the same expansive garden.
Shaaban emphasized that these developments reflect Maqam Misr’s dedication to balancing effective marketing with strong execution. The company remains focused on growth and expansion, both locally and internationally.
Yasser El Beltagy, Head of YBA, reinforced the firm’s commitment to delivering innovative designs that meet international standards.
He expressed confidence that the projects would exceed Maqam Misr’s and its customers’ expectations, further solidifying the company’s role in shaping the future of the New Administrative Capital and beyond.
