INDIA- Dialysis services provider, NephroPlus has launched the expansion of its services in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The firm was chosen by the government of Uzbekistan in January 2021 as the winner of a global competition to find a private partner to deliver top-notch dialysis services.
The company has received a US$100 million contract and is building four dialysis clinics on a turnkey basis as part of a larger relationship with the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
They will independently commission and operationalize these centers, three of the centers are already up and running.
Two new dialysis facilities have been launched, one each in Urgench and Bogot, Uzbekistan, according to NephroPlus.
Over 1,100 patients in Uzbekistan will receive high-quality dialysis care from NephroPlus.
In order to complete this project, NephroPlus has established a locally based company that is 100% owned.
The firm plans to adopt its RenAssureTM protocols in Uzbekistan to provide a coordinated and practical patient experience.

He noted that in Uzbekistan, NephroPlus has done construction to commissioning on a turnkey basis and will further introduce Peritoneal Dialysis services, wherein people can obtain dialysis in the comfort of their homes.

The first dialysis center in Nukus went into operation on April 18, 2022, as part of the public-private partnership (PPP) project.
There are four PPP project centers that will debut by the end of 2022, and this one is one of them.
The dialysis project is the first international PPP project in Uzbekistan’s healthcare sector to be implemented under the PPP Law.
Its effective execution will be crucial in luring more foreign investors and technological advancements to the healthcare system.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, provided advisory support to the Ministry of Health during the project’s implementation.
Despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is constantly enhancing the Republic of Uzbekistan’s access to high-quality, inexpensive healthcare.
