In a press release, AMSA announced: “AMSA has expanded its brand of patient-centric and innovative healthcare to a new Multi-Specialty Clinic, Kidney Care Centre, and AMSA Pharmacy.”
As one of the fastest-growing dialysis and renal care providers across the Middle East and Africa, AMSA provides end-to-end renal facilities that restore confidence for more than a thousand patients and their loved ones.
It has expanded its global footprint with the launch of chronic kidney disease and dialysis treatment facilities in the UAE, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and Turkey in line with AMSA’s vision to achieve recognition of excellence in renal care.
“The AMSA Medical Centre and Kidney Care provide synergy in medicine with multi-specialty clinics, kidney care centers, and pharmacies all in one location,” AMSA said.
The new kidney care facility features multiple consultation rooms dedicated to specialties in Nephrology, Cardiology, Nutrition, General Practice, and Internal Medicine.
In addition, the 17-bed capacity facility is well-equipped with ultrasound and skilled doctors who will collaborate to provide high-quality care to patients with kidney diseases.
“The availability of in-house pathology diagnostics allows for quicker assessment and intervention,” the healthcare group highlighted.
AMSA pointed out that its dialysis unit has 13 dedicated bays for haemodialysis that are strategically placed to ensure patient comfort and privacy during treatment.
Moreover, the kidney care center has an additional spacious area including 2 private rooms and 2 Isolation rooms to cater to Hep B, Hep C, and Covid-19 positive dialysis patients.
The AMSA Medical Centre and Kidney Care aims to provide a seamless integration of assessment, diagnostics, and treatment while maintaining the comfort of the individual.
Commenting on the launch, Fatima Ajmal, the Chief Operating Officer of AMSA Medical Centre and Kidney Care said: “We hope to gain from our patients, to offer compassionate care, and for our team to function with the deep commitment to doing the best they can in terms of providing medical care.”
She underscored that one of the major objectives of the AMSA brand is to promote innovative techniques and create awareness for the multitude of health challenges individuals face.
“Towards this end, there is a training center on-site where regular workshops are scheduled, geared towards training patients, families, caregivers, nursing staff, and doctors,” Fatima added.
Furthermore, the medical center will support early diagnosis and accurate monitoring of kidney diseases, which helps to slow down their progression and detect treatable diseases in their early stages.
