UAE – Dr. Rohil Raghavan has officially taken over as Chief Executive Officer of Response Plus Holding (RPM), a leading healthcare service provider in the United Arab Emirates.
Response Plus Holding continues to deliver quality healthcare services to more than a million people in over 65 countries.
Its scope of health services onsite healthcare management, occupational medicine, emergency medical services, and other health solutions.
Since its inception in 2010, Response Plus Holding got listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange and the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS) as a global micro–cap company.
Following an extensive search for a new leader, Response Plus Holding has tapped Dr. Rohil Raghavan to develop the company’s new services in the field of prehospital care.
The incoming CEO will work closely with global industry leaders in the regional healthcare sector to assert RPM’s positioning as a premier pre-hospital healthcare provider.
He will also support RPM’s goal to go fully digital across all its subsidiaries in the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligning with its organizational goals.
Commenting on his elevation, Dr. Rohil Raghavan said: “I am looking forward to my tenure as CEO of Response Plus Holding. Response Plus Holding has a unique model and tremendous potential to become a key player in the global healthcare sector.”
Dr. Raghavan is expected to leverage his extensive surgical experience with RPM’s solid performance, technological innovations, and skilled human capital to position the company for further upcoming successes.
He has extensive experience in the regional healthcare sector across the Middle East spanning over 20 years.
As an ENT surgeon, Dr. Raghavan is highly knowledgeable about the full patient care pathway, from operations outside the hospital to operations within the healthcare facility.
He has held senior leadership roles at leading healthcare organizations including Burjeel Holdings, one of the leading private healthcare service providers in the Middle East and North Africa.
Speaking on his recent stint with Burjeel Holdings, Dr. Rohil Raghavan said: “I am thankful to Burjeel Holdings for giving me the platform to run operations in the Sultanate of Oman.”
Prior to his current stint at Response Plus Holding, Dr. Raghavan held the role of Regional CEO of Burjeel Holdings in the Sultanate of Oman for the last 5 years.
His most recent stint involved overseeing the responsibilities of three hospitals, two medical centers, and multiple on-site clinics for many prestigious clients under the management of Burjeel Holdings.
According to the Company’s statement, Dr. Raghavan was in charge of multiple on-site clinics for many prestigious clients like OQ, Sohar Aluminium, and Petroleum Development of Oman.
He also played a critical role in overseeing Burjeel Holdings’ large-scale emergency management operation in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in Oman in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Raghavan was elevated to the role of CEO of Response Plus Holding after Major Tom Louis decided to step from the position at the UAE-based healthcare service provider
His appointment follows the recent agreement between Response Plus Holding and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to expand access to high-quality emergency care in India, the Gulf region, and the Middle East and North Africa region.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Raghavan confirms: “Adapting to different market scenarios will be the biggest challenge, for which we’re planning to build on local partnerships and develop the flexibility to cater to each market’s specific needs.”
Dr. Raghavan expressed his excitement to join the management team of Response Plus Holding while emphasizing that RPM is a well-oiled company with a client base that comprises some of the biggest names in the regional healthcare sector.
Laying out his vision for Response Plus Holding, Dr. Raghavan said: “My biggest responsibility is to innovate, improve and take RPM to international heights.”
