OMAN – The Oman Health Exhibition and Conference (OHEC) is returning to the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on September 18, 2023.
The Oman Health Exhibition will be held alongside the Oman Health Conference under the patronage of Oman’s esteemed Ministry of Health (MOH).
As one of the leading international events of the Sultanate, OHEC 2023 is anticipated to witness the participation of over 160 local and international exhibitors.
More than 6,000 people are poised to participate in the twelfth edition of the Oman Health Exhibition and Conference in Muscat.
Beyond the knowledge exchange opportunities, visitors can connect with an esteemed cohort of over 6,000 qualified key buyers, influential decision-makers, potential business partners, industry stakeholders, and end-customers from both local and global markets.
In a press statement, Dr. Qamra Al Sariri, Director General of the Directorate General of the Quality Assurance Center, said: “The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with OHEC, aims to enhance worldwide recognition regarding the importance of involving patients, families, and caregivers at every level and in all healthcare settings to enhance patient safety.”
Hosted by the Ministry of Health, the Oman Health Conference is an ideal chance to bring together experts from healthcare universities, government institutions, and research associations.
The conference will converge leaders in the healthcare industry to discuss technical developments and facilitate insightful conversations about the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Moreover, the second day of the Oman Health Conference will commemorate World Patient Safety Day with a presentation and panel discussion on Patient Engagement and Community Involvement.
While the exhibition timings extend from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, the conference will follow a predefined agenda from 9:00 am to 5 pm on all three days.
The primary objective of the OHEC 2023 will be the exploration of avenues to amplify breakthroughs and the evolution of the country’s healthcare and medical industry.
The multifaceted landscape at the expo will provide unparalleled opportunities to learn about Oman’s pivotal healthcare projects and uncover fresh business avenues that stem from these initiatives.
The twelfth edition of OHEC will also feature a curated set of exhibitions within the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre’s Hall 13.
It will present an extensive exhibitor profile comprising professionals in the field of hospital and medical infrastructure, medical tourism experts, well-known pharmaceutical brands, and specialists in nutrition and supplements.
Additionally, OHEC 2023 is projected to welcome hundreds of participating companies from countries around the world to showcase their latest medical products, services, equipment, and technology.
Commenting on the significance of OHEC to medical tourism, Dr. Qamra Al Sariri stated: “OHEC stands as a model of synergy, where foreign expertise merges with local aspirations. With prominent global hospitals, healthcare establishments, and medical centers from around the world taking part, the event will feature dedicated Country Pavilions.”
Over the years, OHEC has made significant progress in driving advancements, fostering collaboration, and catalyzing innovation within the health sector.
In alignment with the Oman Vision 2040 strategy that identifies the healthcare sector as a pivotal industry for progression, OHEC 2023 will take place in-person from Monday, September 18, through Wednesday, September 20 in Muscat.
OHEC 2023 will be organized by CONNECT (Oman Exhibitions Organizing Company LLC) and conducted in strategic partnership with Oman’s Ministry of Health.
What’s more, the event has garnered the support of the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control, the Directorate General of Quality Assurance Center, and the Directorate of Private Health Establishment.
