USA— Pfizer Inc. has launched PfizerForAll, a user-friendly digital platform designed to improve access to healthcare and manage health and wellness for people across the United States.

This new, complete experience is intended to help the millions of Americans affected each year by common ailments such as migraines, COVID-19, and the flu, as well as those looking to protect themselves through adult vaccines.

The introduction of PfizerForAll comes after Eli Lilly launched a similar program, LillyDirect, which allows patients to obtain pharmaceuticals directly from the corporation, including its weight-loss prescription Zepbound.

Unlike LillyDirect, PfizerForAll will allow Pfizer to work within the existing U.S. healthcare system by collaborating with an expanding network of healthcare groups.

According to Pfizer, patients will continue using their current insurance and pharmacy programs while benefiting from new services provided by UpScriptHealth, Alto Pharmacy, and Instacart.

PfizerForAll seeks to save time and effort for individuals and families taking crucial health actions, including receiving care, filling prescriptions, and uncovering possible savings on Pfizer pharmaceuticals by unifying essential resources and services into one platform.

This platform addresses a significant gap in the U.S. healthcare landscape.

According to recent research conducted by the American Academy of Physician Associates, 65% of Americans find coordinating and managing healthcare difficult and time-consuming, while 73% say the healthcare system fails to satisfy their needs.

Furthermore, the poll found that the majority of patients want additional digital options for managing their healthcare.

PfizerForAll will offer same-day visits with independent healthcare professionals, both in person and through telehealth.

This program connects people suffering from migraines or common respiratory symptoms with trained healthcare providers within minutes, regardless of their location in the United States, or helps them find a local provider available immediately.

The platform also provides prescription drugs, over-the-counter treatments, and diagnostic testing for home delivery or pickup at a recommended local pharmacy.

In addition, PfizerForAll facilitates appointment scheduling for adult COVID-19, flu, RSV, and pneumococcal pneumonia vaccinations.

Users can check their eligibility for these vaccines, find availability in their local area, and book an appointment at a preferred retail pharmacy.

The platform also streamlines the process of paying for Pfizer medications by consolidating savings and support solutions in one place, making it easier for patients with commercial insurance to find co-pay cards and for eligible patients to access Pfizer’s affordability programs and patient support services.

Among other resources, patients can find information to help them navigate the insurance process more efficiently, particularly for those prescribed migraine and COVID-19 treatments. The platform even offers live customer support to assist with these needs.

Speaking during the launch, Aamir Malik, Executive Vice President and Chief U.S. Commercial Officer of Pfizer, emphasised the challenges people face in the complex and often overwhelming U.S. healthcare system.

He noted that information overload and roadblocks can lead to indecision or inaction, resulting in poor health outcomes.

Malik expressed his optimism that PfizerForAll will help alleviate this burden, particularly as the U.S. enters the fall season, and will streamline the path to better health for many individuals.

Pfizer plans to continue expanding and developing PfizerForAll to enhance the healthcare experience for people in the U.S., with the potential to address a broader range of needs and conditions in the future.
