UAE – Procter & Gamble (P&G) has signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Al Jalila Foundation to improve access to top-notch pediatric care services for children in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Jalila Foundation operates a unique paediatric program, named Farah, that provides life-saving treatment, funds cutting-edge research, and offers hope to countless children and their families.

The funds raised through Farah are invested into medical treatment and research of children’s illnesses so that the investments of today will be the cures of tomorrow.

As part of the new agreement, Procter & Gamble will work closely with Al Jalila Foundation to create opportunities for children to live their lives to the fullest.

P&G has joined forces with several retail outlets across the UAE to encourage residents to make charitable donations to the Farah Program to make a positive impact on the lives of children in need.

In his address, ElMehdi Chad, Vice President for UAE and Levant at P&G, said: “At P&G, we are happy to extend our support to Al Jalila Foundation in their mission to support children and remove barriers that hinder their active participation in everyday life.”

ElMehdi Chad underscored that P&G remains dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.

By emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community through its brands, P&G’s partnership with the Farah Program exemplifies the company’s commitment to being a Force for Good.

Similarly, P&G joined forces with 37 hospitals and pharmacies across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote the importance of early detection and seeking timely medical attention earlier this month.

By partnering with the Farah Program, we aim to create a lasting impact on the health and well-being of children who are most in need,” stated Chad.

As part of this deal, consumers can purchase P&G brands, including Always, Head & Shoulders, Crest, Ariel, and Pampers, and donate the products to the Farah Program.

P&G is engaging consumers and encouraging shoppers to spread hope and consider the joy and fulfillment they will experience with every purchase of its brands from participating outlets.

Ultimately, Procter & Gamble has partnered with Al Jalila Foundation to make a meaningful contribution to a brighter future for young individuals in the UAE.

It is in line with the Al Jalila Foundation’s goal of positioning Dubai and the United Arab Emirates at the forefront of medical innovation.

Speaking on this strategic partnership agreement, Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, Chief Executive Officer of Al Jalila Foundation, said: “We are pleased to collaborate with P&G to improve the lives of children.”
