UAE – Prognica Labs has joined forces with Neuro Spinal Hospital (NSH), through its CyberKnife Cancer Center, to drive the growth of clinical research and development in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Prognica will collaborate with Neuro Spinal Hospital on mutual research programs with the aim of discovering, identifying, or developing the innovation in technology and life science suitable for development and commercialization.
Both parties will jointly write research papers and research-based books that will be published in various peer-reviewed journals.
The partnership will also provide unique opportunities for healthcare professionals and medical students to work on research and education in various medical fields.
Prognica Labs and Neuro Spinal Hospital also agreed to develop public health awareness programs including screening and diagnosis campaigns across the country.
Commenting on the strategic partnership, Dr. Abdul Karim Msaddi, Founder and Medical Director of Neuro Spinal Hospital, said: “At Neuro Spinal Hospital, we believe technological innovations are transforming the practice of healthcare delivery.”
Dr. Msaddi outlined that the state-of-the-art hospital leverages AI, robotic surgeries, radiosurgery, advanced neuro and spinal options, and various innovative technologies to provide high-quality healthcare treatments for the benefit of the patients in the UAE.
In addition to designing awareness campaigns, Prognica Labs and Neuro Spinal Hospital will deploy artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare purposes to improve patient outcomes in the UAE.
Integration of AI technology in early detection and cancer care can improve the accuracy and speed of diagnosis, aid clinical decision-making, and ultimately lead to better health outcomes.
AI is playing a key role in improving cancer screening, aiding in the genomic characterization of tumors, accelerating drug discovery, and improving cancer surveillance.
In his address, Khalid Shaikh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prognica Labs, said: “Regionally recognized for their clinical leadership in cancer care, NeuroSpinal Hospital provides unique treatment options, making the specialized institution an exceptional partner.”
