PureHealth partners with Early Childhood Authority to enhance pediatric healthcare in the UAE

UAE—PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare network in the region, has joined forces with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) to improve children’s health across the UAE.

This strategic partnership aims to transform pediatric healthcare by incorporating advanced medical practices, early intervention programs, and comprehensive wellness initiatives.

This collaboration aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ambitious Early Childhood Development Strategy for 2035 and the UAE Centennial 2071 Plan, both of which strive to nurture resilient and thriving future generations.

Central to this partnership is a dedicated commitment to offering holistic healthcare solutions that go beyond simply treating illnesses.

Instead, the emphasis is on early detection and prevention, ensuring that children receive the best possible start in life.

His Excellency Dr. Yousef Alhammadi, Executive Director of the Knowledge & Impact Sector at ECA, highlighted the authority’s firm dedication to fostering a healthy and safe environment for young children.

This partnership strengthens collaboration between ECA and its health sector partners, enabling children to access top-quality health and development services.

One key initiative of this partnership is the expansion of early intervention programs. PureHealth, through its subsidiary SEHA CLINICS, will spearhead efforts to improve school health screening programs throughout Abu Dhabi.

These screenings will use globally recognized tools, such as the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) and the Pediatric Symptom Checklist (PSC), to identify developmental delays and mental health challenges at an early stage.

This proactive approach ensures children receive timely support, laying the foundation for their long-term well-being.

The partnership will also create a state-of-the-art Longevity Observatory.

This innovative platform uses advanced data analytics to monitor children’s health from prenatal stages through important developmental milestones, providing personalized and predictive insights.

By combining these efforts with evidence-based research, the collaboration aims to develop targeted health strategies that effectively address critical developmental needs.

A vital aspect of this partnership is to empower communities through awareness campaigns and training workshops.

These initiatives will equip parents, educators, and healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to create nurturing environments for children.

Furthermore, PureHealth will collaborate with ECA’s ‘Anjal Z’ program to integrate innovative health-tech solutions into its network.

Through clinical trials and co-development projects, the partnership ensures that these technologies align with PureHealth’s transformative vision for children’s healthcare.

Mental health services will also receive a boost through Sakina, PureHealth’s dedicated mental health platform.

Sakina provides tailored counseling services, psychological support, and community-driven initiatives to assist families and caregivers.

This focus on mental wellbeing underscores the understanding that healthy minds are essential for a thriving society.

To ensure sustainable progress, PureHealth and ECA will prioritize the training and development of early childhood healthcare professionals.

This includes specialized training programs, workshops, and support for the National Academy for Childhood Development.

The partnership aims to create a robust healthcare system that supports the UAE’s vision of delivering early childhood development services according to the highest global standards by raising professional standards in children’s health and development.
