UAE—Response Plus Holding PJSC, the UAE and KSA’s largest provider of pre-hospital care and emergency medical services, has appointed Omran Al Khoori as its new Chairman of the Board.
Al Khoori’s appointment comes as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team and enhance its strategic initiatives.
This significant development follows Response Plus Holding’s recent strategic move, where it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SkyAngels Air Ambulance, a UK-based emergency medical transport provider.
The partnership aimed to deliver more efficient and effective medical air evacuation services across both local and international markets, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding its operational capabilities.
Al Khoori’s appointment as Chairman was officially announced following elections held during a recent Board of Directors meeting at the Group’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Along with the chairman’s appointment, the Board also elected Dr. Mohamed Monir Mohamed Yaqoub Hayat Khan as Vice-Chairman.
Both leaders are expected to drive the company forward, leveraging their expertise and vision to continue RPM’s growth in the emergency healthcare sector.
The RPM Board of Directors was recently reconstituted for a new three-year term, signalling the company’s forward-looking approach.
In addition to Al Khoori and Dr. Mohamed Monir, the Board comprises prominent figures including Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Kashif Shamsi Ashraf Azharuddin Shamsi, and Hari Mohan Haritas, all of whom bring extensive experience in healthcare and business to the table.
Al Khoori has a longstanding relationship with RPM, having been appointed Chairman in February 2024.
He originally joined the RPM Board when the company was listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in September 2021, and his leadership has been instrumental in guiding the company’s strategies.
In his remarks following the announcement, Al Khoori expressed his gratitude for the trust the Board and company leadership placed in him.
He highlighted RPM’s success over the years, noting that the company has consistently been at the forefront of emergency pre-hospital care.
Al Khoori also emphasized his commitment to steering the Group towards new growth opportunities, ensuring that RPM remains a leader in the field.
He extended his appreciation to the Board members, leadership, and partners for their renewed confidence in his abilities.
Al Khoori holds a degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, USA. In addition to his role at RPM, he serves on several prestigious boards, including Burjeel Holdings, Amanat Holdings, Al Maryah Community Bank, and the Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company (Aman).
Furthermore, he holds the position of Secretary General of the Union for Human Rights Association, contributing to his extensive experience in both business and leadership.
