RPM and Falcon Aviation pioneer advanced air ambulance capabilities in UAE

UAE—Response Plus Medical Services LLC (RPM), a subsidiary of Response Plus Holding PJSC, has formed a strategic partnership with Falcon Aviation Services LLC to improve emergency medical services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This collaboration aims to develop pioneering air ambulance capabilities within the UAE, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Abu Dhabi by Dr. Rohil Raghavan, CEO of Response Plus Holding PJSC, and Capt. Ramandeep Oberoi, CEO of Falcon Aviation Services.

The partnership aims to facilitate the transportation of patients requiring critical care treatments abroad and ensure their safe repatriation to the UAE following treatment.

 This endeavor aligns with the UAE’s healthcare vision, which focuses on enhancing medical care for both citizens and residents.

The two organisations aim to enhance aviation medicine and medical repatriation services by combining RPM’s expertise in pre-hospital care and emergency medical services with Falcon Aviation’s extensive aviation support capabilities.

Falcon Aviation Services is renowned for its extensive range of operational and aviation support services, including aircraft charter and management, oil and gas aviation support, heli-tours, maintenance, repair, and overhaul.

This collaboration will leverage Falcon Aviation’s expertise to deliver safe, reliable, and world-class air ambulance solutions that meet the highest standards of healthcare in the UAE.

Dr. Rohil Raghavan expressed pride in collaborating with Falcon Aviation Services, highlighting their commitment to supporting medical air evacuation solutions in the UAE and the broader region.

He emphasized that this partnership will enable RPM to offer the most efficient and time-critical air ambulance services to clients across regional markets.

Capt. Ramandeep Oberoi noted that their longstanding collaboration with RPM has been instrumental in advancing air ambulance services in the UAE and beyond.

This strategic MoU strengthens their commitment to providing seamless, efficient, and timely medical transportation.

By harnessing Falcon Aviation Services’ extensive expertise in air operations, they aim to deliver high-quality air ambulance solutions that align with the UAE’s healthcare vision.

Currently, RPM manages its Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) in partnership with Falcon Aviation Services, which includes primary emergency response to remote and offshore locations in the energy sector.

This existing collaboration underscores the strong foundation for their expanded air ambulance capabilities.

The UAE air ambulance market is experiencing significant growth, driven by a rising demand for rapid medical transportation.

In 2022, the market was valued at approximately US$57.86 million and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 8.04% in the coming years.

 This growth is supported by advanced technologies, such as simulation training for air ambulance crews and efficient data management systems, which enhance the continuity of care during air transport.

The partnership between RPM and Falcon Aviation Services is set to play a vital role in this growing market, providing specialized care for a range of medical conditions, including cardiac and neurological emergencies.

Air ambulances in the UAE are equipped to handle pediatric and neonatal cases, ensuring that all patients receive the specialized care they need during transport.
