SAUDI ARABIA – Sajaya Medical Care Services has signed an exclusive radiology partnership agreement with German firm Bayer and Riyadh-based Scientific and Medical Equipment House (SMEH).
The joint statement said: “The collaboration aims to provide exceptional diagnostic services in radiology by offering the latest contrast media and autoinjectors for contrast media application.”
With an initial investment of nearly SAR41 million (US$10.93 million), the multimillion-dollar partnership becomes the largest of its kind in the Saudi market.
The collaboration will build on the ongoing efforts of Sajaya to provide the highest standards of health services using the latest medical technologies and advanced electronic applications.
The Saudi-based company has adopted a new model in providing specialized services in Home HealthCare (HHC) involving physical therapy, intensive care units (ICUs) and addiction management.
Based on an innovative healthcare model, Sajaya recently opened its first and biggest branch in Riyadh to advance access to complete diagnostic services for patients and their families in the region.
The medical firm offers a wide range of diagnostic services, such as nuclear medicine imaging, MRIs, women’s imaging suite, CT scans, BMD, interventional radiology, and bone density measurement.
It also provides crystal laboratory services along with specialized clinics, including facilities focused on quality-of-life medicine, family and community medicine.
With the largest medical diagnostic network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sajaya is locally dispersed in more than 14 locations.
The company has received accreditation from the American Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC) International, making it the first and only Saudi medical organization to receive such recognition.
Through the strategic deal with Bayer and the Scientific and Medical Equipment House, Sajaya aims to improve access to advanced radiology services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The recent development follows a supply and partnership agreement between Sajaya and Siemens Healthineers to provide the largest integrated diagnostic services and specialized home care.
Sajaya and Siemens Healthineers signed a multimillion-dollar deal to provide state-of-the-art electronic injectors for dyes and contrast dyes for radiology examinations in Saudi Arabia.
In addition to providing high-quality diagnostic services in the radiology sector, the Sajaya-Siemens Healthineers collaboration will focus on the application of the latest technologies in healthcare sector.
The private sector contract also includes in its scope Research & Development (R&D), and Corporate & Social Responsibility activities (CSR) beside Continuous Medical and Executive Management Education.
Moreover, Sajaya and Siemens Healthineers agreed to start a series of diagnostic medical centers in line with their shared vision of improving patient outcomes and saving lives.
